Coffee drinkers can have a huge impact on global ecosystems just for the price of a cup of coffee. With coffee being the second most traded product second to petroleum, coffee consumers have a big impact with each cup of joe.

Nearly 50% of us in the United States will drink coffee every day. Becoming aware of where your coffee comes from and how it is harvested can protect rainforests, migratory birds, indigenous people, and medicinal drugs yet to be discovered. The links below have great information about how you can find sustainable and fair trade coffee in your local grocery store or your favorite coffee house. Remember, always use a reusable cup and when in doubt look on the package for organic shade grown.

Go here for a simple way to find out what types of seafood products to purchase at your store but don't be afraid to ask the restaurant where their fish of the day comes from either. When in doubt, wild domestic is always best.
